How to Use D/2

1. If applicable, apply clean water to heavy deposits and loosen with wood or plastic tools. In some cases, heavy deposits can be loosened using a low-pressure (100-500 psi).

2. Saturate the entire surface with undiluted D/2 Biological Solution. 
   After applying D/2 the surface may temporarily change color (yellow, red, orange, brown, green or other)

3. Allow undiluted D/2 to dwell on the surface for a minimum of 15 minutes.

4. Scrub thoroughly with a nonmetallic, short fiber scrub brush.

5. Lightly mist with water and continue scrubbing.

6. Rinse completely with clean water using a hose or sprayer.

7. Lightly reapply D/2 Biological Solution.

8. Immediate Results will vary, Final results will appear over the next week to months depending on the level of staining

3. Be patient.  Results will appear within one week to several months depending on level of staining

Add years to the life of your property. After initial treatment of substrate, a once-a-year light spraying will help maintain a clean, stain-free surface.

NOTE: Heavy biological deposits can be loosened using a low-pressure washer (100-500 psi), and may require repeat applications of D/2 to achieve complete cleaning after detachment.

Alternatively, heavy growth can be detached by manual scraping using wooden or plastic tools before application of D/2 Biological Solution.  

Note: D/2 should be used in temperatures above freezing.

D/2 Biological Solution is available in 1 quart, 1 gallon and 5 gallon containers, and 55 gallon drums.

The area that can be cleaned with one gallon of D/2 may vary considerably from substrate to substrate depending on its physical properties.

Typical coverage to remove medium stains will vary from 200 to 400 square feet per gallon.

D/2 Biological Solution is a biodegradable, easy to use liquid that removes stains from mold, algae, mildew, lichens and air pollutants. It is effective on marble, granite, limestone, brownstone, travertine, masonry, terra cotta, concrete, stucco, wood, and other architectural surfaces including monuments, sculpture and headstones.

A contact time of only 10 to 15 minutes followed by scrubbing with a soft nylon or natural bristle brush will loosen most biological and air pollutant staining.

D/2 Biological Solution is effective for removing harmful biological and air pollutant staining from many building materials including masonry, marble, granite, limestone, brownstone, travertine, terra cotta, concrete, stucco, wood, canvas and vinyl & aluminum siding.

Always do a spot test sample before proceeding with project. D/2 works best when air and surface temperatures are 45°F or above. Use D/2 undiluted for best results. In the event of excessive plant exposure, rinse all plants and water in all planted ground areas.
